A 51-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly barricading himself inside a home in Muswellbrook today.
Hunter Valley Police, along with other specialist officers were called to the Tindale Street house just before midday where negotiations with the man commenced.
About 3:30pm the man was arrested without harm and was taken to Muswellbrook police station.
He has undergone medical assessment by paramedics.
Inquiries are continuing.
