THE BATTLE AT OLD BAR IS WELL UNDERWAY FOR A NIGHT OF BOXING

Taree’s Ryan Spencer has opened this afternoon’s Battle at Old Bar with a draw against Lincoln Dixon from Tamworth.

The main fight will see Taree’s Adam Fitzsimmons take on undefeated pro fighter, Josh Jenkins for the World Boxing Foundation Light heavyweight title.

Tonight’s event will also see Tuncurry’s Brendan Nash step into the ring for the first time.

(“He’s giving away a little bit of weight so that’s always a scary thing but he trains hard, he’s tough as nails so if you ride bulls you know a couple of punches in the face aren’t going to bother you too much are they.”)

We’ll have all the results, tomorrow night at six.
