An extensive land and sea search has been suspended at Wybung Head, on the Central Coast, for a possible missing rock fisherman.
Nothing untoward was found during the search while investigators have been unable to confirm that anyone is missing.
The search was sparked by rock fishing equipment being found on the rocks, with no sign of any fisherman.
Resources involved in the search included marine rescue and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
