BAYLISS TO MAKE HIS COMEBACK TO THE TRACK IN AUS SUPERBIKES

Taree-bred Australian Superbike rider Troy Bayliss returns to the track this weekend with the opening round of the 2018 Australian Superbike Championship at Phillip Island.

He’s dominating practice sessions – not only carving point five seconds off his best time, but finishing ahead of some of the best on the track.

The 48-year-old eager to once again make his mark on the tarmac, even though 50 per-cent of the field is half Bayliss’ age.

“It’s definitely the best year for Australian Superbike ever, the talent is out there, old, middle aged and young, I think it’s going to be a great year for everybody concerned.”

His first race is at 4.40pm tomorrow.
