A high-ranking outlaw motorcycle gang member has been charged after allegedly fleeing a road side stop in Chisolm on Monday.
The 32-year-old ‘Finks’ member was pulled over by police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor.
Police say they tried to arrest the man after he became aggressive and threatening.
They say he fled the scene but fronted Maitland Police Station on Wednesday where he was arrested and charged with a string of offences including assaulting police and resisting arrest.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Maitland Local Court today.
