HARRIS OVERLOOKED FOR COMMONWEALTH GAMES SELECTION

Despite representing Australia on the international stage, Armidale Mountain Biker Holly Harris has been overlooked for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

Harris finished second in the elite women’s cross country division at the recent Oceania Continental Championships in New Zealand.

A 36-person Australian cycling squad was named for the Gold Coast Games – but Harris was a shock omission.

Only two mountain bikers were named on the team.
