Unlicensed building contractor, Matthew Geoffrey Rixon, has been arrested on the Gold Coast – and will be extradited to face court in Newcastle.
A warrant was issued for Rixon’s arrest after he failed to appear in the New South Wales Supreme Court, for allegedly defying orders banning him from carrying out residential building work.
Rixon has been subject to numerous public warnings from the Department of Fair Trading over dealings in Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter.
