A collision between a car and truck in the Upper Hunter Valley has claimed the life of woman early this morning.
Police say a Hyundai hatchback collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction on Denman Road at Denman, near Muswellbrook, just before 4am.
The 36-year-old female driver of the Hyundai died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 45-year-old man, was taken to Muswellbrook Hospital for mandatory testing.
