GAV’S WEATHER: CHANGE ON THE WAY

There’s a lot of cloud making its way across the north and west of the country.

Central and Eastern Australia is mostly clear. Partly cloudy along the northern NSW coast and into southern Queensland.

More wet weather will come down in the north west.

Eastern Australia is still extremely hot but some rain is now on the way.

The trough is on the move and will help flare up a few showers and storms later in the week, as the best southerly change of the year moves through.

Another hot day with north-west to north-east winds ahead of the first significant rain band and associated southerly change of the year on Wednesday.
