POLICE INVESTIGATING FOLLOWING COFFS HARBOUR CRASH

A woman in her 50’s has been flown to Newcastle following a crash in Coffs Harbour last night.

Around 7.15pm, two vehicles, one towing an empty horse float, collided on Pacific Highway, near Thompsons Road.

The woman aged in her 50’s suffered injuries to her head, torso, pelvis and legs.

While the driver of the 4WD, a 56-year-old woman, and a 15-year-old female passenger were treated for shock and minor injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
