MAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING STOLEN UTE

A man has been charged with driving a stolen vehicle that was used during an armed robbery last year.

It’s believed a Commodore ute was stolen from a surfer at Norah Head on June 14.

Police will allege that vehicle was later driven to a pharmacy in Gorokan, where two masked men threatened a pharmacist with a pistol, demanding cash and drugs.

The pair then fled the scene in the stolen ute.

The 22-year-old was granted conditional bail to reappear in Wyong Local Court in February.
