A Hunter Valley police officer has been accused of a domestic violence incident, and will face court later this month.
The senior constable, aged 43, was arrested at Raymond Terrace yesterday and charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, over an alleged domestic violence incident last Sunday.
The officer, who is attached to a specialist command, was granted bail and will reappear at Raymond Terrace Local Court on January 22.
