LAURIETON’S FAMILY FISHING BONANZA

More than 100 competitors are expected to take part in this year’s Family Fishing Bonanza at Laurieton.

The three day event gets underway tomorrow, with locals and holiday makers encouraged to get involved.

Categories included ‘Mystery Bream and Flathead’ and ‘Heaviest of 19 species’.

There’s also a junior section for children under the age of 16.

Weigh-in for judging the catch will take place on Sunday at 1pm at Laurieton United Services Club, with $3,500 to be won.
