WENHAM WINS WORLD TITLE

Woy Woy’s Adam Wenham has returned to the Coast after claiming his first World gold medal at the Para-Swimming Championships in Mexico City.

The 20 year-old was favourite in the SB14 – 100 metres Breaststroke, for athletes with an intellectual disability, and led by over a body length after the first lap.

He stopped the clock in 1:09-point two-nine; just outside his personal best set in Rio last year.

Meanwhile, the State 13 to 18 years Titles commenced at Sydney Olympic Park today featuring rising stars Myles Bailey and Shaye Booth.
