FURTHER ARRESTS FOLLOW GOLD COAST ROBBERY
A second man has been charged over the alleged armed robbery of a man on the Gold Coast.
Police say that shortly after 4am on Friday the 30th of November, the 27-year-old was in sitting his car on Tallebudgera Creek Road in West Burleigh, when another man entered the vehicle armed with a knife.
It’s alleged he demanded money and stole a laptop, before a second man stole the victim’s mobile phone.
The 27-year-old was not injured during the incident.
Following investigations, a 24-year-old Labrador man was charged with one count of armed robbery last Saturday.
It follows charges being laid against a 20-year-old Coolangatta man on December 1 for armed robbery, and possessing a knife in a public place.
