There’s still no sign of a missing boy feared drowned at Port Macquarie.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter suspended its aerial search this afternoon and returned to Sydney.
Surf Life Savers will resume the search along the shore line from Lighthouse Beach to Bonny Hills at dawn.
While a water search will continue at patrolled beaches.
The 11-year-old boy visiting from Canberra with his family, was swept away in a rip on Wednesday afternoon.
