POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP TO FIND MISSING HUNTER MAN

Police are appealing for help to find a man missing from the Hunter.

41-year-old Matthew James was last seen by family members about 9am on Monday December 4 as he drove away from his Karuah home.

It’s believed he could have headed to bushland in the local area including Karuah, Medowie, Clarencetown, Swan Bay, Tea Gardens or Hawks Nest areas.

Police say he has also spoken about travelling to Queensland.

The 41 year old suffers from a medical condition as such there’s serious concerns for his welfare.

Matthew is described as being about 175-180cm tall with a medium to solid build, a long beard and regularly wears a wide brimmed hat.

He’s believed to be travelling in a 1989 white Toyota Hilux.
