WHITE BLOOMS IN HONOUR OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS
A powerful floral display has been created in Terrigal, to raise awareness of domestic violence.
Around 100 volunteers pieced together 20,000 paper blooms to form the number 43…in honour of the Australian women, killed by a partner this year, including two on the Central Coast.
“This installation will be up for three weeks, by the time that three weeks is up, one a week we averaged, sadly that number will have changed in that short period of time.”
The flower display coincides with White Ribbon Day this Saturday.
