MORE WATER REFILL STATIONS ACROSS TAMWORTH REGION

Residents will soon be encouraged to ditch single-use plastic bottles, with Tamworth Council set to roll out more water re-filling stations, as part of new sustainability measures.

It follows the success of three water stations unveiled in Tamworth’s CBD in August.

$40,000 will be spent installing them at Barraba, Manilla, Nundle and Kootingal.
