Armidale’s popular mountain bike race, ’12 Hours in the Piney’ will be held a little later next year.
Having run in March since its 20-11 inception, the 2018 event will be held in October.
The change will allow for more action to take place during the daylight hours.
Organisers also hope holding the event at the start of the season will attract more competitors, rather than following on from the National Series and Australian Championships.
