MAN PLEADS GUILTY AFTER CRASHING CAR INTO HOME

A Fletcher man will be sentenced next year after crashing a car into a Waratah house.

25-year-old Quintin Rosewarne appeared before Newcastle Local Court today, where he pleaded guilty to mid-range drink driving.

Rosewarne lost control of his Mitsubishi Lancer in the early hours of October 2, slamming into the side of the house, on Harriet Street.

Michael McLucas and Kirrily Spruce were sleeping just metres away… and only narrowly escaped injury.

Rosewarne will be sentenced in January.
