BOATS AND JET SKIS TO MAKE A SPLASH IN LAKE MACQUARIE

Lake Macquarie Mayor Kay Fraser has proven she’s not afraid of a little speed, jumping on a jet ski ahead of Lake Mac’s Big Weekend.

From tomorrow, 30,000 adrenaline pumped spectators will flock to the water for an impressive display of super boats and jet skis.

“All different classes, modified, stock, run-about, stand up, endurance racing, closed course racing, it’s going to be all happening,” jet ski rider Michael Stevens says.

The three-day event has made a name for itself on the city’s calendar.
