TOM EDWARDS WINS R3 CUP NATIONAL TITLE

He’s had success at a national level in dirt-track racing, now the Hunter’s Tom Edwards has claimed his first Australian series, on the road.
“Tommy’s won a few titles already but winning the R3 Cup is pretty prestigious, there’s some awfully fast kids in that and Tommy’s cleaned up.”
The win has attracted the attention of international teams – and the 16-year-old is facing a tough choice.
Does he head to Phillip Island for the National Supersport 300 race, or head overseas.
“I haven’t road raced in Europe at all but looking forward to that if it happens, or there’s a lot of good opportunities that come from racing at the GP in Australia as well.”
