A man on bail for domestic violence charges has allegedly assaulted his 21-year-old girlfriend by choking, slapping and kicking her.
The 20-year-old man was initially arrested and charged on Wednesday this week in Coffs Harbour, in relation to alleged domestic violence breaches that occurred in September.
He appeared before Coffs Harbour Local Court the same day where he was granted conditional bail.
After being released the man allegedly assaulted his 21-year-old girlfriend, breaching his bail conditions.
The man was arrested for a second time at around 8.15pm yesterday, at a motel on the Pacific Highway in Korora.
He was charged with two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of malicious damage, and stalking or intimidating.
He was refused bail and will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
