CORRINE HAMMOND WINS THE BRITISH OPEN DARTS TITLE

Charlestown darts competitor Corrine Hammond is making the most of a 12-month stint in the UK, winning the British Open title.
Hammond overcame plenty of tense moments in the decider, trailing early against a three-time world champion from Russia.
“40 points for Dobromyslova. Double top. And that’s game. One nil. First dart.”
Hammond eventually battled back to win 5-3.
“It’s there. Game, shot and the 2017 British Open Ladies champion, Corrine Hammond.”
She’s now turned her attention to the World Masters tournament at the same venue.
Hammond will take part in the final eight later tonight, our time.
