The Coffs Comets rugby league side are set to take on a new coach for the 2018 season.
The Comets, who finished in second place on the Group 2 ladder, are to be coached by former assistant coach for the Sydney Roosters, Brandon Costin.
Costin, who was a Comets junior player, also coached Bellingen and Sawtell in recent years.
Comets President, Steve Gooley, says the appointment of the former Wests, Canberra, Souths and Roosters player has excited the club.
He’ll replace this season’s captain/coach Kerrod Selmes.
