35-YEAR-OLD CHARGED OVER ALLEGED STALKING INCIDENTS

A man has appeared in a Lismore court following a number of stalking incidents.

Shortly before 8pm last Monday, the man allegedly tried several times to enter a house in Laurel Avenue occupied by two women aged 23 and 30.

Then around 12:30pm on Saturday, the same man allegedly walked through the front door of a house in Dalziel Street.

He left shortly afterwards, but returned later that evening and attempted to gain entry by knocking on the doors and windows.

Police arrested the 35-year-old.

He’s facing two charges.
