COUNTRY QUEEN NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

The quest for the next Queen of Country Music is once again underway, with nominations launched today by the current Queen and the Zonta Club of Tamworth.

They’re encouraging women aged 18 to 35 to nominate via the Country Music Festival website.

“They learn how to speak, how to dress, how to wear their hair and makeup and it just really lifts the confidence of all these young ladies that enter the quest.”

Half way through her reign, the 2017 Queen says it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

“You get to meet some amazing young women in the Tamworth community, and learn – you get your toast masters development speech craft course, you just get to meet some amazing people and the festival is just so much fun when you’re a Queen Quest Entrant.”
