The Hunter’s Aaren Russell has picked up two extra Supercar drives.
He’s now set to appear at the Sandown 500 and Gold Coast 600, as well as Bathurst and Newcastle.
“I was a bit scared, going to be rolling straight out of doing a few go kart races then straight into Bathurst and now at least we get a bit of a run down at Sandown.”
As the Newcastle track continues to take shape, today Russell unveiled supporter packages for Hunter fans… offering them the chance to have their name on his car, as well as exclusive access.
“Essentially we’ve got grandstand tickets. We’ve hired Nobbys surf club and have a private area for everyone to go back to. It’s just something for us locals to enjoy, the chance to meet me and get a bit more behind the scenes with things.”
