FLYING FOX ACTION COMMITTEE TAKE A STAND AGAINST ‘INFESTATION’
Tamworth residents don’t need a reminder that flying foxes are still present on the banks of the Peel River.
A local action group is continuing to fight – not only for Tamworth to be flying fox free, but also other urban areas in New South Wales.

You do realise that Grey-headed flying-foxes are listed as Vulnerable to Extinction? That they are a keystone species, pollinators and seed dispersers? The forests need them and so do we.
They are not an infestation. Whatever happened to journalists doing proper research?
And yes, I live right near a colony and manage to cope!
