CANNABIS AND HYDROPONIC EQUIPMENT SEIZED

Police have allegedly uncovered an amount of cannabis and hydroponic growing equipment while executing search warrants at a number of properties in the Northern Rivers.

Police raided six properties in Goonellabah, Lismore and Casino yesterday morning.

At one address, police say they located four separate hydroponic set-ups, while cannabis plant and cannabis leaf were allegedly found at other properties.

Four people, aged between 24 and 54, were charged with a range of offences, including cultivating a prohibited plant, supplying cannabis, and conducting a drug premises

A fifth man, aged 61-year-old from Lismore, will also be issued a court attendance notice for drug-related infringements.
