LIGHTS ON DONATIONS AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

Donations continue to keep the lights on at Tamworth’s Ronald McDonald House.

Today two cheques were awarded to see the house become more energy efficient.

“With these wonderful donations, we were able to LED lighting all through the house, in the bedrooms, in the toy room, in the kitchen and it will make quite a significant change to our environmental footprint,” Kelly McCrohon, House Manager, Ronald McDonald House Tamworth.

The Hat’s Off to Country Committee donated $2,000 from their inaugural Cowboy Crawl, while South Tamworth Bowling Club also donated $500.

“We wanted to keep the funds local, and make a difference to the local community. We know that 100% of the funds raised for Ronald McDonald House go back into supporting the families that call Ronald McDonald House a home away from home,” Chris Watson, Hats Off to Country Committee.
