MAN FACES COURT OVER ALLEGED GOLD COAST ARMED ROBBERY

A 29-year-old man has been charged for his alleged part in a violent armed robbery on the Gold Coast earlier this year.

In July, police say two men, one with a gun, entered a home on Kilpatrick Court in Highland Park.

A man inside the property was hit with a pair of bolt cutters, leaving a laceration on his forearm that required treatment in hospital.

Police also allege that one man rummaged through the rooms and removed property.

A Helensvale man has since appeared in court over the incident, charged with enter a dwelling with intent, and armed robbery in company.
