POLICE RELEASE CCTV AS PART OF SERIAL THIEF INVESTIGATIONS

Police have released new CCTV vision of a man they wish to speak with in relation to a string of property thefts across the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.

Since April this year, a large amount of vehicles and personal property have been stolen from secure carparks and garages in areas spanning from Brisbane’s north to the Gold Coast, including Norman Park, New Farm, Albion, Coorparoo, Eight Mile Plains and Southport.

Police would like to speak to 31-year-old Mitchell Connor in relation to the offences.

Mr Connor is believed to be in possession of a handgun, and members of the public should not to approach him.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 187cms tall with a solid build and light brown hair.

The CCTV footage is from an incident on June 30 at an apartment complex on Colton Avenue in Lutwyche, where a car was broken into and had items stolen.
