JUNIOR LEAGUE PLAYERS TAKE OVER McDONALD JONES STADIUM

McDonald Jones Stadium is usually reserved for professional teams from across Australia and the world, but today, young Hunter rugby league players had a chance to take centre stage.
The annual Knights Knockout pitted primary school teams against each other, and featured the likes of Rosary Park Branxton and Scone Public.
In the Open B division, Metford grabbed a late consolation try, but St Michaels from Nelson Bay won 28 points to eight.
