SEA SUNDAY RECOGNISES SEAFARERS

A special service is being held at Christ Church Cathedral tonight, recognising the contribution of seafarers.

Sea Sunday is an international day which aims to highlight the challenges mariners face every day – including isolation and dangers at sea.

The Port of Newcastle is the third largest in Australia, with 2,500 ships visiting each year.
