MOTORCYCLE CRASH CLAIMS LIFE OF RIDER WEST OF NEWCASTLE

UPDATE:

Authorities have revealed the motorcyclist that died in a single vehicle crash west of Newcastle yesterday was 17-years-old.

Police believe the motorcycle was travelling northbound on the M1 Pacific Highway at Cameron Park just after 4:30pm, when it lost control and crashed into the guard railing.

The male rider was treated at the scene but died shortly after, no one else was injured.


A motorcycle rider has died in a crash near Newcastle this afternoon.

The accident happened on the Newcastle Link Road exit of the M1 heading northbound, at Seahampton, shortly before 5pm
