CAR ALLEGEDLY DRIVEN ON WRONG SIDE OF M1 IN CENTRAL COAST PURSUIT

Three men have been charged after allegedly leading police on a pursuit on the Central Coast.

The chase with the stolen Toyota Prado began at Somersby at around 3pm yesterday, but was terminated after it travelled on the wrong side of the M1.

The four-wheel-drive was dumped at Erina Fair shopping centre, and three people were subsequently arrested by police.

A 26-year-old man was charged with 20 offences including Skye’s Law, driving in a manner dangerous and driving while disqualified.

Two other men, aged 23 and 26, were each charged with being carried in a conveyance and resisting arrest.
