It’s been revealed a teenager that claimed she was pushed to the ground and robbed by a man on the Mid North Coast made a false report to police.
The 17-year-old girl told police she was approached by the unknown man about 1.30am on Thursday a week ago at South West Rocks.
Following inquiries, police established that a false report had been made.
The girl will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
