KNIGHTS AND DRAGONS HOPING FOR ORIGIN STARS TO RETURN

With Jack De Belin suspended the Dragons are sweating on the fitness of Tyson Frizell ahead of their clash with Newcastle.
He aggravated a rib injury last night, but fellow Wollongong junior Josh Starling believes St.George-Illawarra will cope.
“I’m not sure if Frizell’s going to play, he was injured last night but no matter who they’ve got in the squad, they train with them everyday so it’s going to be another big body to come in there.”
The Knights trained this morning without their Origin star, Dane Gagai.
His two try effort for the Maroons wasn’t popular with all of his Newcastle team mates.
“I wish he didn’t score any and they got flogged by 50.”
“Obviously got the double and really helped them out of yardage as well, getting a lot of carries so yeah he played really well.”
“Hopefully he brings back a big game and he’s a professional athlete so he’ll back up fine and be right and we’re looking forward to playing with him again.”
The Knights face the Dragons on Sunday.
