New England flyers could soon be charged for parking at Armidale Regional Airport, if council has its way.
Under the plan, short term and day parking would remain free while overnight parking would incur a daily $10 fee.
Administrator Dr Ian Tiley says any money generated would be used to fund maintenance and infrastructure projects in the airport precinct.
Armidale is one of the only airports in the region to still offer free parking.
Residents have until June 23 to have their say.
