TWO CHARGED OVER ALLEGED GOLD COAST GRAFFITI

Two men have been charged over a sting of graffiti attacks on local businesses, government buildings and other property on the Gold Coast.

Police say the offences occurred in the Coolangatta CBD in the early hours of Saturday, May 27.

A 19-year-old man from Tweed Heads West and a 20-year-old man from Palm Beach have been charged with more than 12 wilful damage offences (graffiti).

Police say the vandalism amounted to $2,500 damage.

The men have been issued with Notices to Appear at Coolangatta Magistrates Court on June 19.
