CATTLE TRUCK ROLLS IN HUNTER VALLEY

A B-Double carrying a load of cattle has left the road and rolled, bringing down powerlines in the Hunter Valley this morning.

The crash occurred about 3.50am, near the intersection of Jerry’s Plains Road and Denman Road near Muswellbrook.

The male truck driver was not seriously injured.

Local veterinarians are on site to assist with removing the cattle from the truck.

Traffic diversions are in place.
