BOILERS LEVELED AT MUNMORAH POWER STATION

There was one quick blast this morning, and another piece of New South Wales history slumped to the ground.

These boilers were the second part of the decommissioned Munmorah Power Station, south of Newcastle, to be demolished, after standing tall since 1967.

There’s still no word on what will become of the site.
