There’s been great news for a Valla Beach couple who last week vented their anger at having an insurance claim rejected.
Colleen and Kevin Wood, along with Pat And Peter Herrman, were left high and dry after Virgin cancelled a scheduled flight to Sydney, causing them to miss boarding a 10-day cruise to New Zealand.
While the airline reimbursed their plane tickets, Allianz Insurance rejected their claim for the $5000 cost of the cruise.
Allianz contacted the couple on Friday to say it would honour their claim in full.
