TWO ON THE RUN AFTER LAKE MUNMORAH HOLD UP

Staff at a fast-food restaurant have been held up at knifepoint on the Central Coast.

Shortly before 7 o’clock last night, two men entered the takeaway store on Anita Avenue in Lake Munmorah armed with knives and threatening staff.

They fled the scene shortly after in a small silver vehicle. It’s believed the intruders left empty-handed.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police would like to speak with two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of slim build with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black jumper and black cargo pants.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with dark brown eyes and curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey jumper.
