GOLD COAST TRIO TO FACE COURT AFTER ALLEGED ATTACKS

Three men will face court after allegedly assaulting two men in separate incidents on the Gold Coast.

Between 3am and 3.30am yesterday morning, a man was walking along Surfers Paradise Boulevard in Surfers Paradise, when three men approached the man and allegedly struck him multiple times.

Police say demands were also made for his wallet, before he was able to run away.

A short time later, police allege a second man was also attacked.

Investigations led police to charge and 18 and 19-year-old man with attempted robbery and affray, while a 20 year-old man has also been charged with attempted robbery.
