KURT FEARNLEY FINISHES THIRD AT THE LONDON MARATHON

Australian wheelchair racing legend Kurt Fearnley has finished behind two of his greatest rivals at this year’s London Marathon.
The 36 year old was looking to go one better than his second place finish in 2016, but early on he had plenty of competition.
By the time they hit Tower Bridge, the big three of Britain’s David Weir, Switzerland’s Marcel Hug and Fearnley had made a break.
They were quickly swallowed up by the pack, but by the final 500 metres, the same three would fight for the title.. Kurt would settle for third.
