TEEN SUFFERS FACIAL BURNS AFTER ACCELERANT THROWN ONTO FIRE

A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital with facial burns after an accelerant was thrown onto a fire in the Upper Hunter.

It’s reported the 13-year-old suffered the burns when methylated spirits were thrown onto the fire in Scone early this morning.

After being taken by ambulance to the John Hunter Hospital, the patient has now been flow to Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.
