  1. Moving into an area and then complaining about things that are there is not democracy, it is not your right, it is a selfish act.

  2. Keep the live music! This small town needs these small events to keep youth out of trouble and money coming in.

  3. As a community member of the Central Coast and about to move to this area in the near future, I am in disbelief that people can be so rediculously petty. I have worked in Hospitality and Event Management for 13 years and find the Flow Bar to be of top quality, service and very respectful of surrounding dwellers. A popular venue doing everything by the book to regulation and respect with times of functions, It is a huge shame that there are a few who cannot support a decent family environment and give back to the community with a very good service. I know here on the Central Coast our local government and council support Arts and Culture, not only for the locals, but for upholding tourism from outer areas. There is absolutely NO REASON to try and shut down a very good service to the area of Old Bar. I honestly think these people should visit the venue and try to actually see for themselves they too can have an enjoyable experience and try not to waste so much energy in being negative and unfair to the majority. I think the local government and council of the mid north coast have a responsibility in supporting The Flow Restaurant and Bar and provide Art, Culture and Music Experiences to the young and Old. A lot of time, money and resources have gone into doing the right thing and following the laws responsibly. I love this place and really hope a compromise can be found.

  4. I personally know a couple of the people that arent happy and they are not newcomers to the area. They have actually lived there for over 40 years. I personally have nothing against flow having music playing but i dont live next door to it. I can understand some of the older people living close not being happy about it because it sound like its playing in their back yards. And YES ive heard it with my own ears. Everyone needs to get their facts straight before jumping on a bandwagon and accusing newcomers of complaining

  5. I go down to Old Bar to enjoy the entertainment and great food from Port Macquarie. It would be a great disappointment to lose this unique, fun and relaxing experience.

  6. Flow is an icon of the future and a massive asset to the tiny town of Old Bar. The owners are a smart bunch of individuals, who have put thought, time & money into this wonderful establishment, as well as the ongoing blood, sweat and tears of running such a business. I really hope that we don’t lose what has become such a joy for so many.
